Summertime

Marshall football camp
Marshall
Academy hosted a football camp June 13-16 for second through seventh
graders. The camp was led by new head coach Barrett Donahoe with the
help of other members of his staff and some varsity Patriots. It

The
Terminators, an 11-year-old AAA competitive team with players from
Marshall and DeSoto counties, won first place at the Southaven June
Jam. Fourteen teams competed in the tournament. The Terminators went
5-0, defeating Mustang Baseball 8-7 for the championship. The team is
currently number one in the state and fifth in the nation, according to
USSSA standings. Local players are (front and center) Tyler Bolden and
