PUBLIC NOTICE
The Marshall County Planning Commission
will meet for their regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, May 12,
2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the Marshall County Zoning Office at 590 Old
Highway 78-East, Holly Springs, Mississippi. The public is invited to
attend.
The following requests will be on the
agenda:
ITEM 1: Mrs. Dorothy Todd requests to
be allowed to establish a restaurant (no alcohol beverages will be
sold) in an existing building located at 2926 Cayce Road (corner of
Cayce Road and Mt. Zion Road). The property in question is part of Lot
#13A of Cayce Estates Subdivision, contains one (1) acre and is zoned
R-1.
ITEM 2: Mrs. Angelee Grider requests to
be allowed to establish a memorial park on property located on Mt. Zion
Road (between 1472 Mt. Zion Road and 1548 Mt. Zion Road). The park will
consist of picnic area, walking/bike trail, cabins, basketball/tennis
court, burial plots and etc. The property in question contains 2.5
acres and is zoned Agricultural-Residential.
ITEM 3: Mr. Kawaski Davis is planning
to open a restaurant on his parents (Timothy and Betty Davis) property
located along Highway 7 South (close to Highway 310). he is requesting
the Planning Commission to allow him to utilize 5 to 10 acres adjacent
to the restaurant for a recreational park to have family reunions,
picnic and other outside festivals (will be some musical festivals).
The property in question contains approximately 29 acres and is zoned
C-1 (Commercial-1).
ITEM 4: Mrs. Patricia (Lingross) Gerhow
at 590 Victoria Road is requesting to be allowed to deed three (3)
acres of her 12.5 (618 Victoria Road) acres to place a double wide
mobile home for her daughter and her daughter’s family. If the request
is allowed, the three (3) acres (with the double wide mobile home) will
front Hymonia Road. The property in question is Lot #6 of Happy Acres
Subdivision and is zoned R-2.

Sealed bids will be received by the
Mississippi Department of Transportation at the office of said
Department, Jackson, Mississippi, until 10:00 a.m. April 28,
2011, for the sale of:
One (1) Double Wide Mobile Home,
located in the N E 1/4 of the SW 1/4, of Section 24, Township 2 South,

TERMS OF SALE: The purchaser

printed in 40 C.F.R. Part 61 pursuant to Section 112 of the Federal

member of an employee’s family and that I had no part in appraising the
