DeBerry, mayor of Holly Springs, along with Brandon Presley,
Mississippi Public Service commissioner, Northern District, will host
an Energy Expo on April 14 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at 610 N. Memphis
Street, Eddie Lee Smith Multi-Purpose Building. Experts
from the Tennessee Valley Authority will be on hand to provide
information to residents and walk them through an on-line home energy
evaluation. Energy efficiency kits will also be available to residents
who complete the evaluation on site. “The expo
will be a chance for people in the area to find out what kind of energy
efficiency services and products are available,” said Don
Hollingsworth, general manager, Holly Springs Utility Department. “We
encourage all citizens to attend and learn about ways to save on their
electric bill.” Energy efficiency programs
provide benefits across the power system that can decrease the
environmental impact of power production, reduce the overall need for
