Energy Expo April 14 in Holly Springs
Andre’ DeBerry, mayor of Holly Springs, along with Brandon Presley, Mississippi Public Service commissioner, Northern District, will host an Energy Expo on April 14 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at 610 N. Memphis Street, Eddie Lee Smith Multi-Purpose Building.
Experts from the Tennessee Valley Authority will be on hand to provide information to residents and walk them through an on-line home energy evaluation. Energy efficiency kits will also be available to residents who complete the evaluation on site.
“The expo will be a chance for people in the area to find out what kind of energy efficiency services and products are available,” said Don Hollingsworth, general manager, Holly Springs Utility Department. “We encourage all citizens to attend and learn about ways to save on their electric bill.”
Energy efficiency programs provide benefits across the power system that can decrease the environmental impact of power production, reduce the overall need for new generating capacity and help consumers and businesses save money.
For more information on the expo, please call Hollingsworth at 662-252-4411, ext. 1224.
