Lady Cards split games
The Potts Camp Lady Cardinals played in Tupelo Friday night, March 25.
The first game was against Booneville. The Lady Cardinals started well, scoring in the first inning, but they were unable to pull off a win. They fell 4-3 to the bigger school.
Kayla Yarbrough pitched a six-inning contest with Megan Watkins catching.
The second game of the night was against Tupelo Christian Preparatory School. The game went only four innings with Alaken McNeer pitching and Watkins catching.
Potts Camp dominated the game 17-7.
The Lady Cardinals’ record is 5-3 entering this week’s action. They were scheduled to travel to New Site on Monday of this week and hosted Ingomar Tuesday.
