Police make felony arrests Holly Springs
police officers arrested and charged one with receiving stolen property
and two with burglary last week, according to chief Robert Pearson. Mario
W. Chatman, 20, of 633 Swaney Drive, was arrested and charged with
receiving stolen property and with possession of a weapon by a student
on campus, he said. Two 16-year-olds, Kadarius
Isom of 812 West Ridge Cove, and Curtwan Warren, of 415 Jones Bean
Road, were arrested and charged with burglary, the chief said. The two
have already been adjudicated and they are charged as adults, he said. Officers
responded to 65 calls last week – disturbances, 6; assaults, 1; alarms,
7; accident, 4; larcenies, 1; burglaries, 1; auto burglary, 3; medical
and sheriff's office assists, 3; robbery, 2; loud music, 3; 911
hang-ups, 2; concealed weapons, 2; and miscellaneous, 30. Officers took the following reports: Monday, March 21 • a forgery in the 200 block of MLK Drive. missing juveniles in the 200 block of MLK Drive. The two juveniles were
located and returned to their parents within an hour of the report. • malicious mischief in the 400 block of Craft Street. •
two subjects were arrested and charged with possession of a weapon on a
school campus and receiving stolen property in the 100 block of Rust
Avenue. Wed., March 23 • a disturbance in the 300 block of Rolfing Road. No charges were filed. Friday, March 25 • a concealed weapon in the 500 block of Stewart Street. An arrest was made. • a strong-armed robbery in the 500 block of East Van Dorn Avenue. Robbery is under investigation. • a malicious mischief in the 200 block of MLK Drive. • a burglary in the 200 block of MLK Drive. • a burglary of a residence and vehicles in the 100 block of North Memphis Street.
