The
following Marshall County residents were recently initiated into the
University of Mississippi’s chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s
oldest, largest and most selective honor society for all academic
disciplines: David L. Cook, senior, majoring in criminal justice, of
Potts Camp; and Tamara L. Hillmer working toward a master’s in
educational leadership, of Waterford. Phi Kappa Phi membership is based
on a student’s sound character and academic standing. Juniors must have
completed 72 credit hours and rank in the top 7.5 percent of their
class, while seniors and graduate students must rank in the top 10
percent of their class. |
