NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Marshall County Board of
Supervisors will receive sealed bids in the office of the County
Administrator, Marshall County Courthouse, Post Office Box 219, Holly
Springs, Mississippi 38635, until 10:30 AM Monday April 5th,
2010 and thereafter publicly open them for furnishing and
placing traffic stripe under maintenance contract No. MC-M-2010/2011.
Sealed bids shall be received on each
of the following items. Work order(s) shall be issued for individual
assignments with payment to be made under the appropriate quantity unit
pricing. Each work order shall be completed within 45 calendar days of
the date of the work order.
Technical specifications for all
material requirements, construction requirements and construction
testing shall be accomplished in strict compliance with Mississippi
Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction,
2004 Edition, adopted by the office of State Aid Road Construction of
the Mississippi Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway
Administration. Said specifications are made a part hereof fully and
completely as if attached hereto, except where superseded by special
provisions or amended revisions.
Special provision and revised
specifications adopted and approved are made a part hereof fully and
completely as if attached hereto.
Fuel adjustment and State Aid Project
Sign do not apply to this contract. Successful Contractor shall be
responsible for all maintenance of traffic and stripe during the
construction period as specified for STATE AID ROAD AND BRIDGE
CONSTRUCTION.

NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of October,
2007, a Deed of Trust was executed by Harris Gholson II and Jerry
Hasselman as Managers of G & H Land Company, LLC to M&I
Bank, FSB, Trustee for State Farm Bank, F.S.B., Beneficiary, which Deed
of Trust is recorded in the Office of the Chancery Clerk of Marshall
County, at Holly Springs, Mississippi, in Book 449, Page 196; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of said Deed
of Trust State Farm Bank, F.S.B. is authorized to appoint a trustee in
the place and stead of the original trustee named in said Deed of Trust
or in place of any succeeding trustee; and
WHEREAS, the legal holder of the said
Deed of Trust and the note secured thereby, substituted D. B.
Bridgforth as Substitute Trustee therein, as authorized by the terms
thereof, by instrument recorded in the office of the aforesaid Chancery
Clerk as Instrument No. 2010000624; and
WHEREAS, default having been made in
the performance of the conditions and stipulations as set forth by said
Deed of Trust, and having been requested by the legal holder of the
indebtedness secured and described by said Deed of Trust so to do,
notice is hereby given that I, D. B. Bridgforth, Substitute Trustee, by
virtue of the authority conferred upon me in said Deed of Trust, will
offer for sale and will sell at public sale and outcry to the highest
and best bidder for cash, during the legal hours (between the hours of
11:00 o’clock a.m. and 4:00 o’clock p.m.), at the South side of the
Marshall County Courthouse, 128 Van Dorn Avenue, Holly Springs,
Mississippi, on Friday, the 26th day of March, 2010, the following
described land and property being the same land and property described
in said Deed of Trust, situated in Marshall County, State of
Mississippi, to-wit:
All of Lot Nos. 175 & 176, according to the plan of the City of
Holly Springs, on Section 6, Township 4 South, Range 2 West, less and
except the following parcels, to-wit: (a) A strip 37 feet in width off
of the South side of said Lot No. 175. (b) That part of said lot
described as beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot No. 176 on
the alley and running thence East on the North line of said lot, 55
feet; thence South 115 feet to a stake; thence West 55 feet to a stake
on the alley; thence North 114 feet to the point of beginning; being
the same land conveyed from Eleanor M. Coopwood et vir dated April 9,
1963 and recorded in Land Deed Book No. 101 at page 396 of the records
of the Clerk of the Chancery Court of Marshall County, MS, direct
reference of which is hereby made.
Title to the above described property is believed to be good, but I
will convey only such title as is vested in me as Substitute Trustee.

lifetime to J. P. Hall, and described as beginning at the Northwest
corner of said Lot 304, thence running East with the Northern boundary
of said Lot a distance of 92 feet to a stake; thence South in a line
parallel with the Western boundary line of said Lot 304, 135 feet;
thence West on a line parallel with the Northern boundary line of said
lot a distance of 92 feet to the Western boundary of said lot; thence
North with the Western boundary line of said lot, 135 feet to the point
of beginning.

Of the Town of Byhalia, Mississippi
Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance
The Legislature of the State of
Mississippi has entitled 17 Chapter 1 Mississippi Code of 1972
Annotated delegated the responsibility of local governing units to
adopt regulations designed to promote public health, safety and general
welfare of its citizens. In accordance with the intent of the
Legislature, the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Byhalia
have adopted the Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance. Pursuant to Section
21-17-19 Mississippi Code a substance of an Ordinance may be printed in
lieu of the full text of the public measure or amendment as provided in
said Section 21-17-19. The purpose of this Ordinance is to promote
public health, safety and general welfare and to minimize public and
private lawsuits due to flood conditions in specific areas.
Said Ordinance was adopted, ordained
and approved the 3rd day of November, 2009.

the full text of the public measure or amendment as provided in said
Section 21-17-19. The purpose of this Ordinance is to clarify and
explain fully rules and regulation of the Byhalia Cemetery.
Said Ordinance was adopted, ordained
and approved the 18th day of August, 2009.
