Humane Society needs help with clinic, center
The Marshall County Humane Society encourages individuals to become involved in helping with expenses at the Spay/Neuter Clinic in Byhalia. The clinic provides low cost neutering of dogs and cats to families who cannot afford to pay full fare.
The society also asks individuals to contribute to the operations of the local animal adoption center by helping at the center directly, through purchase of food and supplies, or through fund-raising activities such as donations of items for the silent auction.
Monetary donations can be mailed to Marshall County Humane Society, P.O. Box 625, Holly Springs, MS 38635, or on-line at Pet Finders.
To inquire about adoptions or for answers to any other questions, call 662-564-2900. The Humane Society meets the third Tuesday each month at 6 p.m. at the Collins-Hurdle VFW Post.
