Holly Springs Primary holds Brunch with Santa
Holly Springs Primary School held their annual Brunch with Santa, Saturday, December 11, at 10 a.m.
The brunch began with a program in the Activity Building. Parents were welcomed by parent liaison Mamie Byers and Vickie Rodgers, P.E. teacher. Mrs. Jenkins, the music teacher amazed the audience as the students from Ms. Miller’s second grade class performed their Bow Wow ball-handling drills.
Great talent was displayed by Mrs. Spight/Anderson’s Pre-K class as they recited the Twelve Days of Christmas. The music teacher, Mrs. Jenkins, and the students sang beautiful Christmas songs. The highlight of the program was the reading of a poem by one of our parents, Katrina Washington.
Brunch with Santa was served in the cafeteria, gifts were passed out by Santa, and pictures were taken with Santa. Byers would like to send special thanks to Katrina Washington for her parent involvement, and to Santa. She also thanks all the parents for their participation who brought their children to the brunch. Thank you! The Brunch with Santa is sponsored by Mamie Byers, parent liaison, and the Holly Springs School District.
