Christmas
greetings in paper this week
The
South Reporter’s Christmas greetings sections are published in this
week’s edition.
The
edition includes Letters to Santa, plus holiday photos and more.
Potts Camp
parade moved to this Saturday
The
Town of Potts Camp’s Christmas was postponed last Saturday due to rain.
It
has been rescheduled for this Saturday, Dec. 18, starting at 12 noon.

Santa Claus
will visit Holly Springs Monday
Santa
Claus will be at the Eddie Lee Smith Multi-Purpose Building on Monday,
Dec. 20, at 6 p.m.
Prizes
and candy will be given away. The event is for children ages 10 and
under. Come and see Santa dance.
Tennessee man
dies in one-car accident
A
Bartlett, Tenn., man was killed Monday, Dec. 6, 2010, after his vehicle
left Highway 4 West and flipped over several times, according to deputy
coroner John Garrison.
Clay
Steverson, 52, was
pronounced dead on the scene following the accident, which was reported
at 3:58 p.m., he said. The accident took place on a straight stretch of
highway about 6.5 miles from the Highway 7 intersection, he said.
There
were no passengers in the vehicle.
Newspaper
deadlines same for holidays
The
South Reporter will have regular deadlines during the Christmas and New
Year’s holidays, and newspapers will be distributed on the regular
schedule.
Deadline
for classified advertising is
Monday at 10 a.m. Deadline for all other advertising, plus news and
photographs, is Monday at 5 p.m.
The
South Reporter office will be closed Friday, Dec. 24, for Christmas. It
will reopen Monday, Dec. 27, at 8 a.m.
The South Reporter
office will be closed Friday, Dec. 31, for New Year’s. It will reopen
Monday, Jan. 3, 2011, at 8 a.m.
The office will also be
closed from 12 noon to 2 p.m. this Thursday (Dec. 16) for a holiday
party.
