Green receives statewide honor By BARRY BURLESON Editor Karen Green was recently voted the state’s Athletic Director of the Year. The prestigious award was presented at the Mississippi Athletic Administrators Association (MAAA) Conference in Vicksburg. More
than 400 association members, including athletic directors, principals
and superintendents, were in attendance and voted Green the Athletic

Kirkwood plans Super Bowl golf tourney Kirkwood National will be hosting a two-person Super Bowl Scramble on Sunday, Feb. 7, with an 11 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament is open to all. The
