Harviel, 86, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 30, 2010, in Holly Springs.
She was a Methodist and former owner of Jennie’s Flowers. Services
were held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Holly Springs United Methodist Church.
Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. Rev. Milton Whatley officiated.
Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. She
leaves her son, Trent Harviel of Germantown, Tenn.; a brother, James
Shelton of Somerville, Tenn.; a sister, Martha Lou Hudspeth of Jackson;

L. Jackson, 75, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Holly Springs, died Nov.
29, 2010, at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, Mo. She was the
widow of E.L. Jackson Jr. Services were held at 2
p.m. on Dec. 5 at Hopewell No. 1 MB Church in Holly Springs, where she
was a member. Burial was in Bowens Cemetery. Rev. Leroy James
officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements. She leaves two daughters, Sharon
Jackson, Erana Jackson, both of St. Louis; two sons, Robert Jackson of
Orlando, Fla., Edward Jackson of Holly Springs; three grandsons and a
great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Lester Stanback. George Carrol Loveland George
Carrol Loveland, 86, of Byhalia, died Dec. 1, 2010, at Baptist DeSoto
in Southaven. He was a member of Evangel Full Gospel and a preacher. Services
were held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 3 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Evangel Full Gospel Church Cemetery in Holly Springs.

She was the widow of Arnold “Cowboy” McMullen and a Baptist. Services

leaves three sons, Mark McMullen of Heber Springs, Ark., Arnie

Carnell “Tobe” Byrd of Lamar; a sister, Katie Roberson of Ashland; 11
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Joe McMullen. Pallbearers
