Man faces child porn charges
A Marshall County resident has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, Attorney General Jim Hood announced Friday.
Michael Hitchcock, age 36, a Marshall County man with an Olive Branch address, was arrested at his home November 19 by investigators with the Attorney General’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force. He is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography.
“We appreciate Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson and his deputies for their assistance with our search warrants and arrest in this case,” Hood said.
Hitchcock was taken to the Marshall County jail where bond was set at $100,000. As with all cases, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
