Turner, Garrison winners
Mark Turner and Harvey Garrison
won Marshall County School Board races in Tuesday’s election,
according to unofficial totals.
In District 1’s four precincts,
Turner received 545 votes and beat incumbent Terry Rodgers, who got
472.
In District 2’s five precincts,
the incumbent Garrison was re-elected. He got 632 votes to challenger
Raymond Spight’s 558.

Board says, open cemetery gate By SUE WATSON Staff Writer With
a dissenting Mayor Andre’ DeBerry, the Holly Springs Board of Aldermen
voted unanimously last week to open the front gate at historic Hill
Crest Cemetery. The vote followed a motion by
alderman Garrie Colhoun and a second by alderman Harvey Payne and a

A new 512,000-square-foot warehouse, expected to open next summer, is near completion in the Chickasaw Trail Industrial Park. It
will be the warehouse and distribution center for ASICS, an athletic
footwear, apparel and accessories manufacturing company that

Mississippi Community Foundation leadership team and the program

80 individuals participated in the Network of Canine Detection Services
training recently in Holly Springs, at Wall Doxey State Park, at the
