White Oak Classic successful  | First flight winners

The 15th Annual
White Oak Classic Golf Scramble Fun-Raiser was held on Thursday,
September 30, at the beautiful course of Kirkwood National in Holly
Springs. Proceeds benefit the Byhalia Area
Chamber of Commerce mission, programs and services. The tournament had
two flights with first, second and third place in each flight. Winners
were presented Kirkwood Gift Certificates and unique crystal trophies. Sponsorships
included Master Sponsor Champion Awards and Major Sponsors were
Mid-South Ag Equipment, A & B Distributing, Carrier Corporation,
Griffith CPA Firm, PLLC, Precision Metalworks, Dave Rozier for Circuit
Judge, Smith Transportation. Tent sponsors were Trinity Missions Health & Rehab of Byhalia, Mid-South Ag Equipment, and Dave Rozier. Chamber
Champion Platinum sponsors: CenturyTel, Citizens Bank, Hunter Fan,
Marshall County Supervisors, Northcentral EPA / Town of Byhalia, The
Rebel 95.3. Gold sponsors are Bank of Holly
Springs, Woods Farm Supply, First Security Bank, Trinity Missions
Health & Rehab of Great Oaks. Gift bags
were sponsored by First Security Bank, Merchants & Farmers Bank,

Byhalia Family Health Clinic and Henry Chiropractic Clinic. Volunteers
for the event were chairman Bill Kinkade (Champion Awards), Tracy

Dinner was hosted by Rep. Tommy Woods,
Sen. Bill Stone and MDOT Northern Commissioner Bill Minor. Raffle
prizes and many door prizes were given away at the awards dinner. Winners
of the White Oak Classic were first flight: first place, Bank of Holly
Springs; second place, Harold Henderson team; third place First
Security Bank. Second flight: first place, Precision Metalworks; second
place, Champion Awards, third place, A & B Distributing. Putting
contest winner was Putt Cunningham. He was presented a Kirkwood Stay
and Play package and a crystal trophy by Champion Awards. The
Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce wishes to thank and give special
appreciation to our staff, volunteers, players, sponsors, all who
donated, and the Kirkwood staff for making this another successful
