Blood drive February 4
Mississippi Blood Services’ blood donors have paved the way to life for countless hospital patients.
To show our appreciation, MBS has teamed up with the Watson Quality Home Team for the 2010 Road to Life blood drive campaign. Blood donors throughout the state who donate blood through February 4 will be able to participate. If a donor matches the six special keys on the card, he or she will win either a 2010 Ford Fusion or 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe.
Holly Springs High School will be holding a blood drive on Thursday, Feb. 4. The blood drive will be held from 8 a.m.–3 p.m. in the Allied Health Room of the Vo-Tech Building. All donors will receive a T-shirt. The blood drive will be located at 410 East Falconer Street, Holly Springs.
“Blood donors help many Mississippians get back on ‘the road to life’ and we want to return the favor by giving them the chance to get on the road in a brand new car,” said Tony Bahou, manager of communications and public relations.
Everyone who donates blood can receive a scratch card. For more information and contest rules, visit www.msblood.com, click on “Resources,” then “Promotions.” All donors must be at least 17 years old (or 16 years old with signed parental consent), weigh at least 110 pounds and have a valid ID.
