Police respond to domestic violence, burglaries Twelve incidents were reported by the Holly Springs Police Department for the week of Sept. 12-Sept. 18. Sept. 12 • a license plate was reported stolen in the 200 block of West Street. Sept. 13 • a person was reported missing in the 200 block of Chesterman. Sept. 14 • a person was reported missing in the 800 block of West Street. • disorderly conduct was reported in the area of Park Avenue. • disturbance of the family peace was reported. Sept. 16 • domestic violence-simple assault was reported in the 400 block of Coopwood Drive. • disorderly conduct was reported in the 100 block of North Walthall. • a burglary of a dwelling was reported in the 200 block of West College Avenue. Nothing was missing. Sept. 17 • domestic violence-simple assault was reported in the 600 block of West Lake Drive. • simple assault was reported in the area of Memphis Street. Sept. 18 •
Burglary of a dwelling was reported in the 100 block of Pinewood Drive.
An X-BOX 360 and approximately 30 games and a Dell laptop computer were
stolen. There were no signs of forced entry. • a person reported threats made in the 300 block of Treasure Drive. Officers
reported these additional actions – speeding, 1; driving while license
suspended, 2; no tag/expired tag, 1; no proof of insurance,1; reckless
driving, 1; careless driving, 1; child restraint violation, 2; seatbelt
violation, 1; malicious mischief, 1; simple assault, 1; disorderly
conduct, 3; and contempt of court, 6.
