Once again
this year the Hummingbird Migration Celebration art contest drew a
large number of entries (over 100) as Marshall County and other
students continue to show an interest in art. The winners this year are as follows: 6- to 8-Year-Old Category Tamaya Street, first place - 8-year-old, Byhalia; Neely Campbell, second place - 8-year-old, Potts Camp; Grace Smith, third place - 6-year-old, Red Banks. 9- to 11-Year-Old Category Andrew Robinson, first place - 11-year-old, Collierville, Tenn.; Madison Newman, second place - 9-year-old, Waterford; Gabe Edwards, third place - 11-year-old, Water Valley. 12- to 15-Year-Old Category Evie Gill, first place - 13-year-old, Red Banks; Angela Nehring, second place, 12-year-old, Red Banks; Leroy Lewis, third place - 12-year-old, Byhalia. First-place
winners received a set of kid’s binoculars from Eagle Optics, a stuffed
hummingbird toy and a 2010 Hummingbird Migration Celebration T-shirt.
Second place winners received a T-shirt and stuffed hummingbird toy.
Third place winners were given the stuffed toy. Thanks

FedEx, Andy Burleson and the contest judges Steve Elgin, Harriet
Cochran and Suzanne Langley. |
