Frankie Faye Bennett Frankie Faye Bennett, 58,
of Potts Camp, died Sept. 4, 2010, at her home. She was a member of

Wayne Carroll, 33, of Byhalia, died Aug. 31, 2010, at Baptist Desoto in
Southaven. He was a Baptist and a manufacturing machine operator. Services

Byhalia; and a grandmother, Joy Rolleston of Cumming, Ga. Flora Cox Wilson Curl Flora Cox Wilson Curl, 90, of Barton, died Aug. 31, 2010, at her home. She was the widow of David C. Curl. Services

Brickey Curl, 52, of Olive Branch, died Aug. 30, 2010, at Baptist
Hospital East in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of First Baptist Church
of Mt. Pleasant and a farmer. Services were held on Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Don Labelle officiated. He
leaves his wife, Christy Davis Curl; two sons, Aaron Curl of Mt.
Pleasant, Paul Curl of Red Banks; two daughters, Jessica Arar, Rebecca

William Forester Sr., 90, of Holly Springs, died Sept. 2, 2010, at
Veterans Home in Oxford. He was the widower of Frances McAlexander. He
was a member of First Baptist Church of Holly Springs, owner of Parker
Truck Line Trucking Co. and a veteran of World War II. Graveside
services were held at 2 p.m. on Sept. 5 at Hill Crest Cemetery. Dr.
Curtis Ferrell officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of

Griffin, 84, of Byhalia, died Sept. 4, 2010. Born in Houston, he served
in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was founder and president of
Griffin, Inc. in Byhalia for more than 26 years until his retirement in
1994. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Olive Branch. Services
will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 8 at Brantley Funeral Home Chapel in
Olive Branch. Burial will be in the Poplar Springs Cemetery outside
Vardaman. He leaves his wife of 63 years,
Movalene P. Griffin; his daughter, Jane Spencer; three sisters, Allene
Dunam, Myra Shields, Lynette Ferguson; his brother, Curtis Griffin; two
granddaughters, a grandson and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Lee Griffin; and his granddaughter, Sheila Marie Spencer. Earl
Thompson Haven, 87, of Byhalia, died Sept. 4, 2010, at his home. Born
March 19, 1923, in Independence, he served two years in the
Conservation Corp as a young man and served in the Army during World
War II in the Pacific. He was a retired employee of Gem, Inc., and a
member of Victoria United Methodist Church. Services
were held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 6 at Brantley Funeral Home Chapel in
Olive Branch. Burial was in Byhalia Cemetery. Rev. Terry Hunt
officiated. He leaves a son, Barry Haven Sr.; a
daughter; Janice Wagg of Byhalia; four sisters, Daisy Ferguson of Como,
Pauline Scott Hill of Senatobia, Ruby Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, Wilma
Morehead of Byhalia; a brother, Bill Haven of York, S.C.; seven
grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers
were Caleb Shackelford, Brooks Haven, Philip Herring, Barry Haven Jr.,
Matt Gehrke, Jimmy Brents, Nick Scott and Sammy Moore. The family requests that all memorials be sent to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Blake Wilder Hopkins Blake Wilder Hopkins, 6, of Potts Camp, died Sept. 3, 2010. He attended Mary Reid Elementary School in Potts Camp. Services
were held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 7 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel.

“Kyle, Jr.” Richmond Jr. died August 28, 2010 at Trinity Mission in
Holly Springs. He was the widower of Shirley Jamison Richmond and a
member of Chulahoma MB Church. Services were held
at 11 a.m. on Sept. 4 at Union Valley MB Church, with burial in the
church cemetery. Rev. London “Joe” Richmond officiated. Serenity
Funeral Home of Holly Springs was in charge of arrangements. He
leaves a daughter, Eathelean Coleman of Memphis, Tenn.; a sister, Doris
Fields of Cleveland, Ohio; four grandchildren and three
