You never know what to expect in the newspaper business.
Late Tuesday afternoon of last week, I had just finished the front page and we were about ready to send it to Oxford via computer for printing when I got a telephone call.
Close to Nowhere
Thursday night, Dana, our daughter, asked me if I’d like to go to Jackson with her. I said sure, as long as we can make the short, one-inch on my map, detour by Starkville.
