Escapee captured
According
to Sheriff Kenny Dickerson, Latrell Wilson was captured Wednesday
morning about 11:15 in the Lewisburg area around Hwy 305

department searches for escapee Marshall
County authorities were searching late Tuesday afternoon for a
convicted criminal who escaped after his sentencing.
Kelly
McMillen with the sheriff’s department said Latrell Wilson, 20, of the
Wall Hill Road area in Marshall County, was sentenced to 15 years, six
suspended and nine to serve for burglary in circuit court Tuesday.

Man punished for gun trafficking A 27-year-old
Chicago man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for
trafficking guns from Mississippi to Illinois, including one weapon
used in the slaying of Chicago Police Officer Thomas Wortham IV. Quawi
Gates was sentenced Wednesday of last week by Judge Allen Pepper in the
Northern Judicial District of Mississippi in Greenville. The former
Englewood, Ill., resident pleaded in January to aiding and abetting in
