Notice to Bidders
Sealed bids will be received by the
Board of Supervisors of Marshall County, Mississippi, until 10:00 AM on
Tuesday September 7, 2010 at the Marshall County Administrators Office,
located at 111 S. Market Street, Holly Springs, MS 38635 for a company
to provide contract services for slurry seal and micro seal for the
Marshal County Road and Bridge Department or other departments as
needed in Marshall County under the jurisdiction of the Board of
Supervisors at which time they will publicly open said bids.

AND MICRO SEAL
Specifications are on file in the
County Administrator’s office, 111 S. Market Street, Holly Springs,
Mississippi 38635. All bids must comply with the
specifications provided.
All bids submitted must be sealed and
clearly labeled on the outside of the bid envelope.
The Marshall County Board of
Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive
any informalities and reserves the right to attach addendums to the bid
as needed.

RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
REGULATIONS
FOR THE CITY OF HOLLY SPRINGS,
MISSISSIPPI, BY CHANGING THE
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF
HOLLY SPRINGS, MISSISSIPPI, FROM RM-7
TO B-4, AND PROVIDING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER REZONING
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of
Aldermen of the City of Holly Springs, Mississippi, have determined
that a change in the classification of certain real property described
herein is necessary and advisable and in the best interests of the
municipality and its inhabitants;
WHEREAS, by previous ordinance, certain
amendments and changes were contemplated and allowed by giving at least
fifteen (15) days’ notice of a public hearing to consider any proposed
change or amendment;
WHEREAS, the City Board of Aldermen do
hereby give notice that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday,
August 24, 2010, at 5:30 P.M., at the Board Room at City Hall, located
at 160 South Memphis Street, Holly Springs, Mississippi;
WHEREAS, the property which is proposed
to be rezoned is described as follows:
Commence at the Northwest Corner of Section 32, Township 3 South, Range
2 West, Marshall County, Mississippi; thence Southwardly along the West
line of said Section 32 a distance of 2171 feet to the point of
beginning; thence North 49 degrees 30 minutes East 226 feet to a 6 inch
Osage-Orange tree; thence North 22 degrees 30 minutes East 49 feet to
an 8 inch Elm tree; thence South 74 degrees 35 minutes East 49 feet to
a stake; thence South 40 degrees 30 minutes East 169 feet to the center
of Old Hudsonville Road; thence South 44 degrees 30 minutes West along
the center of Old Hudsonville Road 215 feet to a point; thence South 56
degrees 0 minutes West 239 feet to a power pole; thence North 3 degrees
30 minutes West along the East line of West Street 248 feet to the
point of beginning and containing 1.9 acres, more or less.

One-half interest in all minerals

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that, this Resolution shall be adopted
and published once each week for three (3) consecutive weeks in The
South Reporter, a legal publication, the first publication being at
least fifteen (15) days prior to the public hearing noticed
herein.
Alderman Colhoun moved to adopt said
Resolution, seconded by Alderman Payne.
The Resolution was put to a roll-call
vote by the Mayor, and the result was as follows:
Alderman Bagley voted Yes.
Alderman Colhoun voted Yes.
Alderman James voted Yes.
Alderman Johnson voted Yes.
Alderman Payne voted Yes.
The motion having received the affirmative vote of the majority of the
members present, the Mayor of the City of Holly Springs, Mississippi,
declared the motion carried and the Resolution adopted on this the 20th
day of July, 2010.
