SocietyCity Personals Thomas Stewart celebrates b’day Thomas Stewart celebrated his ninth birthday Monday. He was treated to a day of shopping in Memphis with his dad, Tom, and friend, Grady Brooks. The trio went to Toys R Us, Game Stop, Bass Pro Shop and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Happy birthday, Thomas! Many Holly Springs residents could be seen at the Neshoba County Fair. Among some of those who attended are Karen and Bill Schneller, Linda and David Seale, Pat Stubbs and Emma Elgin. Norbert Barruel is home from a recent hospital stay. Get well soon, Boogerbear! Birthday wishes go out to Carl Isom, who was treated to a wonderful meal Saturday. Get well wishes go out to Ann Carpenter, who is recovering at home after having knee surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Craig Mynatt of Slayden, request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter Kristin Nicole Mynatt to Mitchell Alan Anthony II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Anthony of Lamar, and the late Helen Anthony. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lovie Barry of Slayden and the late William Barry; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mynatt of Nashville, Tenn.; and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy McKinney of Laws Hill. The prospective groom is the grandson of Helen Saucier of Covington, Tenn., and the late Joseph Saucier; and Anne Anthony of Rossville, Tenn., and the late Forest Anthony. The bride-elect is a 2010 honors graduate of Marshall Academy in Holly Springs. She will be attending Northwest Community College in Southaven, majoring in dental hygiene. The prospective groom received his GED in November of 2009 and is currently enrolled at Northwest Community College, Southaven, majoring in psychology. The couple will exchange vows in a double ring ceremony at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Slayden Baptist Church in Slayden. A reception will immediately follow the ceremony in the Slayden Baptist Church Activity Center. After a honeymoon the couple will reside in Southaven. All family and friends are invited. Vanessa Duckworth of Rolling Fork and Kelvin Hamilton of Waterford announce the arrival of their son, Xavier Anthony Hamilton, born May 15, 2010 at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. He weighed seven pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 inches long. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Duckworth of Rolling Fork; Earnestine Hamilton of Waterford and the late Raymond Ingrams of Holly Springs. |
