Public Notice
The Marshall County Planning Commission
will meet for their regular scheduled meeting on Thursday, June 10,
2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the Marshall County Zoning Office at 590 Old
Highway 78-East, Holly Springs, Mississippi. The public is invited to
attend.
The following requests will be on the
agenda:
ITEM 1: Victoria Church of Christ at
192 Friendship Road is requesting to be allowed to establish a cemetery
at their church for the church members and the community. If this
request is allowed, the cemetery will be fenced in. The property in
question is Lot #6 of Victoria Baby Farms Subdivision Phase I, contains
approximately 1.5 acres and is zoned R-2. Returning from last month
(May 13) meeting.
ITEM 2: Mrs. Laverne Crutcher requests
to be allowed to place a single wide mobile home on her property
located at 2318 Rabbit Ridge Road (Lot #3 of J.P. Woods Subdivision).
The property in question contains 1.6 acres and is zoned
Agricultural-Residential.
ITEM 3: Mrs. Tosha Mason-Poplar
requests to be allowed to operate a child care facility (6-12 children
each day) in her home located at 40 Memphis Avenue (Lot #1 of Mt.
Pleasant Valley Estates Subdivision). The property in question contains
2.33 acres and is zoned R-E.
ITEM 4: Mr. Scott Robinson requests to
be allowed to establish a recreational park and open a restaurant on
his property located at 341 Wilson Golden Road. The property in
question contains 130 acres and is zoned Agricultural.
ITEM 5: Rezoning hearing a 3:00 p.m.
for Davie Seldon, Kelvin Stephens, Gary Seldon and Brenda Penilton on
their property with a total of approximately ten (10) acres, located
north of Highway 72 to be rezoned from Residential-Estate (R-E) to
Commercial-2 (C-2).
