For the third time in three years a pair of Marshall Academy baseball players have been selected to participate in the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools All-Star Game. Seniors Parker James and Will Patton were named to the North squad after posting stellar numbers during their final campaign. They are the only players from District 1-AA on the 18-man roster. Holly Springs’ Dawkins attains college degree Former Holly High basketball star Kenny Dawkins graduated Saturday, May 15, from Lamar University. Dawkins and his mother, Wanda Richmond, traveled to Beaumont, Texas, for the commencement, putting closure to another challenge in his life. |
