Donald
Hugh Allmond, 76,
of Forrest City, Ark., died May 18, 2010 at his home. He was a retired
parts specialist for NAPA, a member of the Forrest City National Guard,
and he attended the Oak Hill Church of God.
He
leaves his wife of 47 years, Virginia Louise Charles Allmond; a son,
Wade Allmond of Forrest City, Ark.; a daughter, Carol Daniels of
Forrest City, Ark.; a stepson, Bobby Cleaver of Clinton, Ark.; a
stepdaughter, Mary Dillard of Holly Springs; a brother, W.C. Allmond of
Oklahoma; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchildren.
Services
were held at 1 p.m. on May 22 at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, Forrest
City, Ark. Burial was in Forrest Park Cemetery.
He
was preceded in death by three grandchildren.

Faye Bowen, 52, of Holly Springs, died May 15, 2010 at Baptist Hospital
in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Powell Chapel MB Church and a
domestic worker in private homes.

leaves her mother, Berneice K. Bowen of Holly Springs; her father,

Springs, Sara Reliford, Elizabeth Bowen, Sandra Bowen, all of Memphis,
Tenn.; and seven brothers, David Bowen, Dempsey Bowen, Mack Bowen, all
of Holly Springs, Bryan Bowen, Alonzo Farrow, Randy Bowen, Coleman
Bowen Jr., all of Memphis, Tenn.
She
was preceded in death by a brother, Benjamin Bowen.

Edward Feathers, 82, of Byhalia, died May 17, 2010 at Baptist
Collierville Hospital. He was Pentecostal and a farmer.

laborer with Best Built Lumber Company in Byhalia.

She was the widow of G.F. Graves. She was a member of Springdale
Baptist Church and retired from PEP Industries in Ripley.

was in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Randy Hamilton and Bro.

leaves two

17, 2010 at Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis. He was a
member of the Masonic Lodge, a World War II Army veteran and a retired
laborer with OK Tire in Holly Springs.

Banks, where he was a member. Burial was in West Tennessee Veterans

Mae Riley Hardaway, 78, of Byhalia, died May 12, 2010 at Baptist
Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. She was the widow of Johnny Hardaway. She
was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Holly Springs and
a retired school teacher with ICS Headstart Center.
A

Church in New Albany. He was a retired shipping clerk at Universal
Forest Company in Auburndale, Fla., and later at Ashley Furniture
Factory in New Albany.
