Killer Kudzu set for Saturday
The annual 5K is set for this Saturday, May 15, starting at 9 a.m. It begins and ends on the courtsquare in Holly Springs. The Killer Kudzu, which benefits the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, winds through historic Holly Springs. This challenging course begins downtown and takes you past sweeping antebellum homes, towering native woods, graveyards dating back two centuries, and of course, kudzu. The Killer Kudzu is a Memphis Runners’ Club sanctioned race. There will also be a one-mile run at the conclusion of the 5K. Runners can register online at americanpac.com or registration starts at 8 a.m. Saturday prior to the 9 a.m. race time. |
