Marshall Academy baseball team split a pair of games last week with
non-conference opponents in preparation for the State Class AA Baseball

Byhalia teams win track meet Byhalia hosted a “warm-up” track meet last week in preparation for district competition. Schools participating were Byhalia, Potts Camp, Ashland and Holly Springs. The Indians won the boys meet with 83 points, followed by the Cardinals with 66 and the Blue Devils with 22. Full Story
Walsh races to first place in 5K run Runners got a firsthand look at historic Holly Springs Saturday morning as they participated in the Pilgrimage 5K. “We
had a variety of runners such as pediatricians, veterinarians, news
media, father/daughter and husband/wife, said Carri Hutchens, who

Marshall second in district The Marshall Academy Patriots claimed the second-place trophy last week at the District 1-AA Track Meet in Clarksdale. The MA boys totaled 86 points. Indianola Academy took the district crown with 104 points. North Delta was third with 55. Full Story

Potts Camp Lady Cardinals hosting games Thursday and Friday and then

Cards fall to Myrtle By CLAUDE VINSON Sports Editor The
Potts Camp Cardinals and Myrtle Hawks tangled on the diamond Friday for
the second time this season. The Cards had stopped the Hawks in their
