Marshall Academy baseball team clinched its fourth consecutive District
1-AA crown, sweeping Kirk Academy last week and finishing with an
unblemished 12-0 mark in district play. The Patriots look toward the Class AA state playoffs which begin Tuesday, April 20. Full Story

Lions and Cardinals met Friday in the rubber match of the current
season. Potts Camp and H.W. Byers had faced each other before on March

former standout basketball star for the H.W. Byers Lions is now a part
of the Southeast Texas Mavericks of the American Basketball Association
and helped the Mavs win the ABA championship March 28 at the Parker

Lady Cards lose three The Potts Camp Lady Cardinals had a busy week. On
Monday, April 5, the Lady Cards started their week facing Ingomar.
This was a game that the Lady Cardinals couldn’t get going in their
favor. Taking the mound for the Lady Cardinals
for the first two innings was Alaken McNeer. Pitching the last three
