SocietyCity Personals A great weekend in store Well, it was a lovely surprise to be driving through the neighborhood and see the monstrousity gone from the yard on Van Dorn. Oh, and just in time to welcome our wonderful tourists to our beautiful town! What a great weekend we have in store for us here. There will be a flurry of activities for all ages and all walks of life this weekend. We have, naturally, the annual pilgrimage and all of the festivities that go along with it - organ music, provided by Norman Chapman, a gospel singing featuring Barbara Howell, scrumptious lunches prepared by the best cooks in town available at Christ Church, First Presbyterian Church and Montrose, as well as many other fun things to do. Booker Hardware is having a Case Knife extravaganza, which will be on the square. People from all over are coming to experience that, as well as our town. That could not have been planned at a better time! A big thanks to Jonathan Moore and his group over at Booker’s for making this happen for Holly Springs! Welcome our guests to Holly Springs with open arms. We so often take for granted the beauty our town has to offer (and then there is Graceland, Too). Get out and take advantage of all of the happenings going on this weekend and, for that matter, most weekends. Shop our local shops - treat yourself to the best milkshake in town at Tyson’s on the Square. Soak up what we all call home and what, for our visitors, is a nice place to visit!
