Indians fall twice to Mustangs

The Byhalia High School baseball team dropped a pair of 10-run games to district opponent Center Hill last week.
The Indians fell 14-4 to the Mustangs on Tuesday, April 6, and then 13-3 on Thursday evening.
Coach Bubba Brown said Kevin Fitzpatrick “did a great job hitting the ball,” in the home loss April 6.
Fitzpatrick had two triples and two RBIs. Pat Malone also had an RBI.
Cory German was four for four from the plate in the two games. He was one for one Tuesday and three for three in the road game at Center Hill Thursday. All were singles.
The Indians hosted Senatobia Tuesday. Then they go to Senatobia Thursday for a 5 p.m. game.
Next Tuesday, April 20, Byhalia hosts Lafayette County at 5 p.m. on “Senior Night.”
