City police respond to variety of calls, make arrests Holly Springs Police Chief Robert Pearson issued the following report for the week ending April 10. April 4 •
a burglary of a dwelling was reported in the 400 block of Salem Avenue.
A television cable box and several pieces of jewelry were stolen. • a grand larceny was reported in the 800 block of West Ridge Cove. A Social Security check was reported stolen. April 5 • a shoplifting was reported in the 900 block of Mackie Drive. • a malicious mischief was reported in the 400 block of Hudsonville Road. April 7 • a simple assault was reported in the 200 block of MLK Drive. April 8 • a domestic violence-simiple assault was reported in the 600 block of Highway 7 North. • a simple assault on a minor was reported in the 100 block of Walthall. • a domestic violence was reported in the 500 block of Robindale Lane. • a disorderly conduct was reported in the area of Stewart Street. April 9 • a shoplifting was reported in the 100 block of College Avenue. April 10 • Mario Buffington, 30, of Holly Springs, was arrested and charged with grand larceny and burglary, according to Chief Pearson. • Keneshia Vaughn, 19, of Holly Springs, was arrested and charged with felony assault of a minor, he said. • a wallet was reported stolen in the 500 block of Sanders Avenue. tag/expired tag, 1; disregard for traffic device, 4; reckless driving,
1; careless driving, 3; child restraint violation, 1; improper parking,
1; DUI refusal, 2; disorderly conduct, 1; public profanity, 1; domestic
violence/simple assault, 1; disturbance of the peace, 1; and contempt
of court, 2.
