March 28 • a grand larceny in the 1300 block of Highway 4 East was reported. • a grand larceny was reported in the 300 block of West Street. March 29 • a petit larceny was reported in the 100 block of Rust Avenue. • an automobile burglary was reported in the 200 block of Elder Street. • a malicious mischief was reported in the 500 block of South Center Street. March 30 • a malicious mischief was reported in the area of West Woodward Avenue. • a petit larceny was reported in the 100 block of Rust Avenue. • a simple assault was reported in the area of Highway 7 South. • a shoplifting was reported in the 300 block of Van Dorn Avenue. James Malone, 65, of Holly Springs, was arrested and charged, according
to Chief Pearson. • a domestic violence-simple assault was reported in the 800 block of West Ridge Cove. April 1 • a burglary of a commercial building in the 100 block of Van Dorn Avenue was reported. • a disturbance of the peace was reported in the 100 block of Walthall. April 3 • a malicious mischief was reported in the 200 block of Jeanette Street. • a burglary of a dwelling was reported in the area of Stratmon Drive. • a disorderly conduct was reported in the 200 block of Rolfing Road. • a petit larceny was reported in the area of Highway 7 North.
