• WOMEN’S CONFERENCE, March 11-12, 7 p.m. nightly. March 13, Sat., breakfast. March 14, Sunday school 9:30 a.m., worship at 11 a.m. Salt and Light Ministries at Miracle Temple in Lamar.

• SUNDAY SCHOOL night, Kimbrough Chapel Church, March 13, 6 p.m.

• Canine Obedience classes will begin at 9 a.m. at the Holly Springs Fire Department. The six-week class offered by K-9 Search One teaches dogs basic good manners, and how to respond to simple commands. Bring dog, choke chain collar, leash, and rabies/distemper/parvo virus shot records to first class. Call 252-1004 for more information.

• Pastor’s love banquet Rising Star MB Church will have their annual pastor’s love banquet for Rev. Robert McClain at 6 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Ronnie Franklin. The public is invited.

• Pancake Breakfast served by After Shock Youth of Friendship Assemby of God, 7:30-9:30 a.m. Proceeds go to STL - Missions. Three dollars for a stack of pancakes. Be sure to get here early to take time and enjoy the feast.

• Job class There will be a job readiness class held at Union Hill Baptist Church in Michigan City, off Hwy. 72, March 13 from 9 a.m.-12 noon. The topics discussed will be on constructing resumes and cover letters. Contact Cherry Hill 662-224-5299 for additional information.

• Singing Marianna Baptist Church will have a singing, Sat., March 13, featuring Picking Up The Pieces. Fellowship at 5 p.m., singing will follow at 6:15.

• TAKING BACK AMERICA MINISTRIES will present a Pro-Life Rally, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the Marshall County Courthouse in Holly Springs. Speakers and special music. Everyone invited.

March 14

• FAMILY AND FRIENDS’ DAY Isaac Chapel Church, south of Byhalia on Hwy. 309, will have Family and Friends’ Day beginning at 11 a.m. with Evangelist Alma Ruth Brunson. Afternoon speaker will be Rev. Joe L. Tunstall and Free Branch Church from Holly Springs at 2:30 p.m. Lunch will be served. Willie Ward is host pastor.

• MEETING The Marshall County Humane Society will have its regular monthly meeting at 6 p.m. at the VFW, Hwy. 7 South, in Holly Springs. Everyone is welcome.

• Youth rally, Miracle Temple Salt and Light Ministries invites everyone to its annual youth rally, March 19, 7 p.m. Special guests will be Pastor Patrick Washington and Palestine Church of Blue Mountain. • Fish Fry Cayce Fire Department will be having their Spring Fish Fry at the station, 34 Lee Creek Rd., 4:30-7 p.m. The meal will be cooked by sheriff Kenny Dickerson and crew and will consist of catfish, French fries, slaw, hushpuppies, dessert and tea or cofee. April 3

• Bake sale Bethel UMC (Benton County) will be having a bake sale at the Ripley Wal-Mart from 8-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 3. We are currently taking orders if you would like one now. April 4
