Paylor, Samples go to UT-Martin
Two football players with local connections have transferred to the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Jason Simpson, head football coach at the UT-Martin, said he is pleased with this crop of high school signees plus transfers.
“Once again our goals were high and we were able to be choosy,” Simpson said. “We were able to investigate each player’s character and his passion for football.
“We brought in players who have sacrificed and who are winners. Winning is contagious.”
