| Team bus burglarized The Mississippi College
women’s basketball team bus was burglarized while unattended on the
Rust College campus November 24, according to chief Robert Pearson. The Lady Choctaws were in town to play the Lady Bearcats. Reported
missing from the bus were the following items – two I-pod touch
screens, one Visa debit card, one Blackberry touch cell phone, three
Cannon digital cameras, one Samsung cell phone, two Apple I-Phones, two
Blackberry pearl cell phones, two I-pod Minis, one Kodak camera, one
I-pod, two Xenon cell phones, one Coolpix camera, one Pink Slither cell
phone, one Insignia MP3 player and a total of $205 in cash. A
breaking and entering was reported in the 100 block of Van Dorn,
November 25. A computer monitor and $92 in cash were reported missing. A
residence was reported burglarized November 28 in 100 block of Lutton
Cove. Taken in the burglary was a 50-inch Panasonic television and a
High Point 380 automatic pistol. Entry was made through the south end
doorway of the residence. A dwelling was reported
burglarized in the 300 block of Withers Avenue November 29. Missing was
an Acer laptop computer, and an RCA 37-inch flat screen television.
There were no signs of forced entry. Officers
reported these additional activities for the week - no insurance, 2;
simple assault, 1; driving while license suspended, 3; speeding, 10;
disorderly conduct, 1; improper passing, 1; disregard for traffic
device, 1; failure to appear, 1; and public drunk, 1.
