| Police arrest burglary suspects By BARRY BURLESON Editor Three
suspects were recently arrested in connection with burglaries that took
place during October and November in Holly Springs. The suspects were
working in groups, according to police chief Robert Pearson. Arrested
were Thaddeus D. Johnson, 19, of Ridgecrest Drive in Holly Springs,
charged with three counts of burglary and one count of robbery;
Theodore Walker, 18, of Minor Street in Holly Springs, charged with two
counts of burglary; and Courtney Walker, 19, of Randolph Street in
Holly Springs, charged with three counts of burglary. Incidents
reported for the past week included a robbery in the 300 block of
Ridgecrest Drive, November 18; a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of
West Park, November 19; a theft of utilities in the 200 block of West
Valley, November 20; a stolen vehicle in the Highway 7 North area,
November 20; a breaking and entering in the 100 block of Briarwood,
November 21, with entry through a bathroom window; and an aggravated
assault in the 200 block of Jarrott Street, November 21. The
victim of the robbery on Ridgecrest, which occurred Wednesday, Nov. 18,
about 6 p.m., had her purse stolen during the incident. She has a
special request that her family photos, which have great sentimental
value, be returned. The purse was orange and the billfold inside red. “I just want my photos back,” she said. “Please return them, and you can keep everything else.” The pictures can be mailed to The South Reporter, P.O. Box 278 (157 South Center Street), Holly Springs, MS 38635. Officers
