| Police investigate burglary, robbery The Holly Springs Police Department investigated reports of burglary, break-in and robbery last week. A
breaking and entering was reported in the 100 block of West Boundary,
November 9. Six blue pit-bulls, three male and three female, were
stolen from the residence which was entered through the front door,
according to chief Robert Pearson. A vehicle burglary was reported in the 1700 block of Crescent Meadow, November 10. A wallet was reported missing. A strong-armed robbery was reported in the 100 block of Rust Avenue on November 11. A purse was reported stolen from an automobile in the 100 block of West Valley Street on November 12. A grand larceny was reported in the 900 block of Mackie Drive on November 13. Regas Ringo, 36, was arrested and charged with grand larceny, according to Chief Robert Pearson. Keith Dawkins, 34, was arrested and charged as a peeping Tom, he said. Officers
reported these additional activities for the week ending November 16:
no driver’s license, 5; no insurance, 1; simple assault, 1; domestic
violence simple assault, 2; driving without headlights, 3; careless
driving, 4; driving while license suspended, 5; speeding, 11; DUI, 1;
malicious mischief, 1; leaving the scene of an accident, 1; following
too closely, 1; handicap parking, 1; and possession of marijuana, 1.
