Byhalia chamber
plans membership luncheon
The
Byhalia Area Chamber of Commerce’s next general membership luncheon is
Thursday, Oct. 22, starting at 11:15 a.m.
It
will be hosted by Northcentral Electric Power Association in its
community building, 225 Highway 309 South, Byhalia.
The
luncheon will be catered by Sheriff Kenny Dickerson and crew, with fish
and all the trimmings.

Musical Oct.
25-26 at Marshall Academy
The
Marshall Academy Patriot Performers will present “Oh, Horrors! It’s
Murder!” on October 25-26 at the school.
Times
for the musical are 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, and 7 p.m. on Monday,
Oct. 26.
Advanced
tickets are now on sale – $10 (adult reserved), $7 (student reserved)
and $5 (general admission).

Registration
begins for youth basketball
The
Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Department is holding registration
for youth basketball.
The
league is for boys and girls ages 4-14.
Registration
is available at the Eddie L. Smith Jr. Multi-Purpose Building or city
hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There
is a $20 registration fee.

Christmas tour
slated for Dec. 5-6 in city
It’s
not too early to start thinking about Christmas, particularly
activities of the holiday season.
The
annual Christmas in Holly Springs tour will be held Saturday, Dec. 5,
and Sunday, Dec. 6.
On
the tour this year are Strawberry Plains, Finley Place, Montrose, Wall
Doxey House, Fairview and Marshall County Historical Museum.

If
purchased in advance of November 28, tickets are $18 ($15 each for
groups of 10 or more). After November 28, tickets are $22.
