Fielder’s Choice By Barry Burleson Wonderful museum Members
of the Holly Springs Rotary Club got a sneak preview of the new and
improved Marshall County Historical Museum Wednesday of last week. And
it was an impressive look. We were all in awe of the remodeled facility
and its wonderful exhibits. We could have spent hours there, but we all
had to go back to work. Perhaps Marshall
Countians themselves are not aware of what a tremendous asset this
museum is to our community. If you have not visited the museum

Close to Nowhere By Linda Jones One more wild weekend This
is the third weekend in a row that I’ve not been at home. And I have to
say, it’s getting kinda old! But, I do have so much fun... This weekend we drove over to Searcy, Ark., where my late mother and late sister lived. My
brother-in-law Gene still lives there, along with an assortment of
children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren! (My sister was

The Preacher’s Corner By Rev. Dr. Milton Winter Grandma Reid always remembered the Sabbath In
the picture that accompanies this column, the lady rolling the dice is
Grandma Reid, the only great-grandmother I ever had. Grandma Reid was
not really my great-grandmother; she was my cousin Bill’s. But because
I was the only child of older parents and their grandparents had passed
away long before I was born, Grandma Reid functioned for me in a
great-grandparently role. As you can see from the picture, she always
had room for one more child, and I adored her. Full Story
