• Meeting Marshall County Fair Association membership meeting will be held at the fairgrounds, 7 p.m.

• First sermon Marvin Lucas Sr., member of Bell Grove MB Church, will preach his first sermon on January 31, at 5 p.m. This event will be at the Chulahoma MB Church in Holly Springs.

• Recovery meeting Cedar Haven Baptist Church, 750 Hwy. 309 S in Byhalia, will host a recovery meeting February 6 at 6 p.m. This is an open speaker meeting with guest David Bettes of Byhalia. • Fish fry Emory Independent Methodist Church in Byhalia will be sponsoring their annual St. Jude fund-raiser on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 5 p.m. in the Family Life Center. An all-you -can-eat fish fry with desserts will be on sale for $10 for adults and $5 for children, age 10 yrs. and under. All proceeds will benefit the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
