Holly Springs officers make three arrests
Three people were arrested by officers with the Holly Springs Police Department last week, according chief Robert Pearson.
Kendrick Duncan, 20, was arrested August 17 in the 186 block of West College and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and charged with resisting arrest, Pearson said.
Cameron Jenkins, 21, was arrested August 18 in the area of Sam Coopwood Park and charged with domestic violence, the chief said.
Sylvester K. Smith, 24, was arrested August 21 in the 580 block of Stewart Street and charged with auto burglary, Pearson said.
Officers responded to four other incidents – burglary of a commercial building August 20; aggravated assault August 19 in the area of 130 North Memphis Street; burglary of a commercial building August 21 in the area of 975 Highway 7 South; and grand larceny on August 22 in the area of 617 Swaney Road.
Officers issued these citations – leaving the scene (3); loud music (3); no driver’s license (5); ran stop sign/light (3); speeding (4); and suspended driver’s license (2).
Misdemeanor arrests included – animal cruelty (1); counterfiet (1); disorderly conduct (3); harassment (1); malicious mischief (1); petit larceny (1); public drunk (1); shoplifting (3); simple assault (6).
