August 22

• ANNIVERSARY Kimbrough Chapel’s male chorus will begin their anniversary, 6:30 p.m. and climax on Aug. 23. Revival will be held Aug. 26-28, 7 p.m. nightly. Guest speaker will be Rev. Chris Williams with Mt. Sinai Church in Byhalia. The public is invited. Pastor, Rev. J .W. Smith Jr.

• The St. Mary’s/CADET/Holy Family Reunion Committee 2010 is calling on all former classmates, schoolmates, alumni, current and former faculty and staff to join in at the Spring Hollow Walking Trail behind the Eddie Smith Multi-Purpose Bldg. in Holly Springs every Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. for a walk together. • SINGING The Underwood Singers of Nettleton will be the featured singers at Evangel Full Gospel Assembly, 766 Evangel Rd., at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.

• Pre-anniversary program The Mt. Sinai COGIC of Mt. Pleasant will be having a pre-anniversary program for Pastor Curtis and Richenda Pritchard at 3 p.m. Special guests will be Elder Hicks and the True Vine COGIC of Memphis, Tenn. Everyone is invited.

• Informational forum to discuss a grant writing workshop for this area, sponsored by North MS Center for Higher Educational Advancement, Inc., a private, non-profit agency based in West Point.

August 27

• Meeting Lessye Lee Davis 4-H Club will meet at the Marshall County Library at 6 p.m. New members welcome; age 8-18.

• PTA MEETING H.W. Byers PTA will host its first annual PTA meeting for this school year, 6 p.m. at the school. The PTA will host a booth to kick-start membership and will host concession stand during the Green and White football game on August 28. All participation gladly appreciated. PTA president is Elain Billingsley.

August 29

• Spaghetti supper The Victoria United Methodist Church will have a dine-in spaghetti supper for the community to come, eat and fellowship with one another. A time to meet your neighbors and get to know one another. Starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 7:30 p.m. Please join us.

• Back to school The Mt. Sinai COGIC of Mt. Pleasant Youth Department is hosting a back to school community fest on the new church land, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be singing, rides, delicious food and prizes. The public is invited. Pastor is Elder Curtis Pritchard Sr.

• CHECKERS TOURNAMENT The Holly Springs Parks and Recreation Department will have a checkers tournament at 12 p.m. at the Eddie L. Smith Multi-Purpose Building. Anyone interested can contact the office at 662-252-4807 for more info.
