August 1 • Singing Mt. Calvary
Pentecostal Church, 1/2 mile south of Goodman Rd. on Cayce Rd. Featured
singers will be the Williams Family. Sat., Aug. 1, 7 p.m. Everyone is
welcomed. • Benefit program Mt. Sinai COGIC of
Mt. Pleasant will have a benefit program for Sister Curesa Pritchard,
who has breast cancer, at 6 p.m. We are asking for participation from

Concert Antioch MB Church, located at 1306 Gardner Road, Victoria,
under the leadership of Pastor Roger Daniel will be having a concert at
6 p.m. Featured guests will be White Hill MB Church choir of Tupelo,
and the Christian Aires of Memphis, Tenn., along with other groups and
soloists. Special speaker will be Johnny F. Twymon and the Blessed Hope
M.B. Church of Cleveland, Ohio. The public is invited. •
YARD SALE Saturday, August 1 on the parking lot of CrossPointe
Christian Fellowship from 7 a.m. until noon. The church is located at
6400 Blocker Street in Olive Branch, next to the Middle School. There
will be many items for sale, including adult and children’s clothing,
accessories and household items. The church’s Mn’M’s ladies group is
conducting the sale. All proceeds will benefit the ladies ministry. •
School supplies The Gift of Life Counseling and Mentor Center will have
a school supply giveaway, Aug. 1, 10 a.m. at the center, located at 21
Vinson Rd., Byhalia. • The Dog Days of Summer
Celebration will be held at the Multi-Purpose Building at 160 S.

Fun fest Victoria Heights Baptist Church will host a Back-To-School Fun
Fest, free for the community, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The event includes a moon
bounce, huge inflated obstacle course, games, crafts, hot dogs,
popcorn, and drinks. Free school supplies are available for up to 100
children. Plus every child in grades K-6th can enter a drawing for a
chance to win one of six book bags filled with school supplies. The
