Behind The Scoreboard By Claude Vinson Grizzlies need hero I
would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the comments on last week’s

Coach’s state title ring stolen Susan Rodgers,
athletic director and head softball coach at Marshall Academy, is
hoping for the return of her state championship ring from 2007. Her home in the Deer Creek Road area of Byhalia was broken into on June 18. Several items were stolen, including the ring. “It’s very important to me personally,” she said. “It has tremendous sentimental value.” She
said she appreciates the work of the Marshall County Sheriff’s
Department on the case. If anyone has any information, please call the
authorities at 662-252-1311.

the students and they bring in coaches from high schools and colleges
all over to work with the students as well. Garrett will be the
starting quarterback for New Site in Booneville this coming school year. |

owner. Full Story
