July 1

• Wednesday worship Every Wed. The Ark of Safety, Red Banks, invites everyone to worship with them. There will be a different speaker each night.

July 2

• Fireworks, fun, food will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church, Barton, beginning at 8:30 p.m. Everyone is invited.

July 4

• Family reunion The annual Osteen - Bolden family picnic will be held on Saturday, July 4, at Wall Doxey State Park. Family members are asked to bring a dish to pass and table service.

• Fourth of July celebration at Snow Lake, 12 miles east of Holly Springs. Free admission and free parking. Hotdogs, nachos and cold drinks will be available. Boat parade at 5:30 p.m. Live music by “Arlington Station” at 6 p.m. and professional fireworks at 9 p.m.

• 4th Celebration Faith Baptist Church, 3974 Highway 309 N. Barton, will host a Fourth of July Celebration, 6:30 p.m. Music, food, fireworks and fun will be held. Everything is free. All are welcome.

July 5

• Annual Homecoming Celebration will be held at Mt. Moriah MB Church, 3193 Marianna Road, 11 a.m. Special guests will be Rev. Bobby Young and Bible Temple Baptist Church from Kansas City, KS. Rev. Dr. R.J. Wilson is pastor.

• FAMILY AND FRIENDS’ DAY will be held at Miracle Temple, Lamar, at 3 p.m. Special guests will be Rev. Ronnie Franklin and the Chulahoma Church. Bishop Mason, pastor, invites all to attend.

• 135th anniversary Pleasant Hill CME Church, July 5, 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Smith and Mt. Vernon MB Church of Rossville as guests. Rev. Willie Hoey, pastor. Everyone is invited.

• A call to fall A time for the nation to pray. The Ark of Safety Outreach Ministry in Red Banks invites everyone to pray, beginning at 12 noon.

• VBS New Hope Baptist Church in Slayden, featuring Passport to the Promised Land, July 6-10. 6-8:30 p.m. nightly. Everyone welcome.

• VBS Anderson Chapel C.M.E. Church will be having Vacation Bible School July 6-10, from 6-8:30 p.m. at the church (730 MLK Drive). We will have classes for pre-school through adults. Everyone is invited to attend.

July 8

• “UTH All Night” - the youth group “Aftershock” at Friendship Assembly of God will be sponsoring an “all nighter” beginning at 9 p.m. Basketball, Christian movies, midnight volleyball, worship and praise service, fun, fellowship and food. Hosted by youth pastor Christy Woods and youth sponsors Keith and Aundrea Mills. Adult supervised. You are invited to come and hang out with a bunch of great youth from all over.
