Arrests made in feed theft case
By SUE WATSON
Local law enforcement has made three arrests and charged the suspects with grand larceny in the investigation into theft of animal feed from Cargill Animal Nutrition in Byhalia, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
A warrant for the arrest of a fourth suspect has not yet been served, he said.
Suspects include Steven Dewayne Jeffries, 31, of 4830 Old Highway 7 South, Anthony Quinn Mosley, 37, of 3174 Highway 310, Waterford, and Gregory Demond Walls, 37, of 205 W. Woodward Avenue, Holly Springs, Dickerson said. Each suspect was charged with grand larceny and was released on $10,000 bond.
Other arrests are pending in the feed theft case awaiting possible federal indictments, Dickerson said.
“These are just the local people who have been charged,” Dickerson said.
