Purple bows for American Cancer Society
The staff at Jennie’s Flowers & Gifts and the Mississippi Homemaker Volunteers from Marshall County made purple bows for The American Cancer Society’s Marshall County Relay for Life Paint the Town Purple month.
The Relay for Life event is scheduled for Friday, June 12 at the Sam Coopwood Park. The goal for this year is $65,000.
The Marshall County Relay for Life began in 1999 and has raised $337,450.55 in the 10 years of its existence. Leading up to the RFL event, the committee will be selling purple bows.
We’re painting Marshall County purple the month of June.
Businesses, decorate your store front purple, drive with purple ribbons on your car. Decorate your home in colors of purple. Tie purple ribbons around trees in your neighborhood. Decorate your mailbox with a purple ribbon. Wear purple every Friday.
