MA golf second in North

The Marshall Academy Patriots finished second in the North State AA Tournament April 27 at Kirkwood National in Holly Springs.

MA eighth grader Zack Pritchett won the individual low medalist championship with a round of 82.

first place, Kirk Academy – Reid Walker, 85, second low medalist; Kris Harbin, 90 (fourth low medalist); Ryals Osborne, 93; Troye Mims, 98; Scott Graham, 101; Will Scruggs, 103.
second place, Marshall Academy – Pritchett, 82 (first low medalist); Hank Owens, 91; Taylor Maurey, 93; John Austin Valentine, 101; Clay Casey, 108; Michael Farese, 152.
third place, Leake Academy – Tristan Hernandez, 90 (third low medalist); Wesly Webb, 93; Crosby McDonald, 97; Graham Scott, 104; Grant Wilson, 105; Austin Marler, 132.
fourth place, Indianola Academy – Joel Moor, 100; Dylan Watson, 104; Dylan Yates, 105; Robert Wright, 107; Christian Stauffer, 114; Cameron Richardson, 118.
fifth place, Lee Academy (Miss.) – Sam Roberts, 97; Gregory Flowers, 103; Matthew Agostinelli, 107; Trey Goode, 110; Tony C. Marley, 118; Andrew Britt, 121.
sixth place, Lee Academy (Ark.) – Hunter McMahand, 99; Brent DeVazier, 100; Mason Busby, 111; Will Whittenton, 115; Andrew Harvey, 116; Conner Gerrard, 121.

This past Monday the Marshall Academy golf team was set to travel to The Dogwoods Golf Course in Grenada to participate in the Mississippi Private School Association State AA Golf Tournament.
