| Registration opens for Ecology Day Camp
Strawberry Plains Audubon Center will once again be hosting its Summer Ecology Day Camp, from July 13-17, for students entering grades 2-5. The camp is a week packed full of exciting activities. Students will be able to take daily nature hikes, explore various habitats, participate in guided field experiences and learn about our native plants and animals. The hours for the camp will be 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. The fee for camp participants is $75 per student. Audubon has partnered with Wild Birds Unlimited and the National Wildlife Foundation to provide full or partial scholarships for families in need. Students interested in applying for a camp scholarship are required to write a 200 to 300 word essay on, “Why I would like to attend Strawberry Plains Audubon Center’s Summer Ecology Camp.” Please submit payment or an essay from the student with your registration form and liability waiver. This camp provides a fun way to explore nature closely, make new friends and have a great time. We strongly encourage teachers to recommend students for this great experience. Registration deadline is June 27. Enrollment is limited, so register early. To download a registration form and liability waiver, visit our web site at strawberryplains.audubon.org.
